She concentrates on global environmental health and currently interns with CDC in the Air Pollution and Respiratory Health department. She also volunteers with Greening Youth Foundation to teach kids about environmental issues and conducts a systematic literature review for a RSPH professor on waterborne pathogens to create a global database inclusive of pathogen incidence and climatic data. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology in 2009 and worked in a stem cell research lab for one year afterwards.
