Mara Hvistendahl

Mara Hvistendahl was a born Sinophile: she grew up in Minnesota with Chinese housemates. After graduating from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, she moved to Shanghai, where she writes about science and the environment for the Financial Times, Harper's, and Science magazine.
