The sight of a single meerkat often sends animal lovers into squee spasms. So you can only imagine what a surprise-multiple-meerkat birth did to one keeper at the Paradise Wildlife Park outside of London. “I had the shock of my life,” said Jessie Croone. “I couldn't even count them all at first. There were so many!”

Well, there were six. Clearly, beholding the beauty of a dozen bandit-marked eyes impaired Jesse’s brain function, robbing her of even elementary arithmetic skills. Honestly, it could have happened to anyone.
