A Conversation with Bill McKibben, Founder of 'Step It Up' Global Warming Campaign
Frustrated by political gridlock in Washington, writer Bill McKibben and some fellow Vermonters decided they had to do something to draw attention to the shrinking window of opportunity we have to curb global warming. So they began a seat-of-the-pants campaign that has caught fire and is now expected to produce, on April 14, 2007, the largest global warming demonstrations ever seen.
