Ever wonder whether your organic body cream or toothpaste is actually made with organic ingredients? You wouldn't be alone. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has faced a lot of criticism for its weak policing of personal care products. Now some retailers are beginning to pick up the slack. Whole Foods Market says that, starting next year, it won't sell products that claim to be organic unless they receive third-party certification.
