I found this article very interesting and it certainly opened my eyes to the feeling a large city has regardingwaste management.

New York City must produce vast amounts of waste on a daily basis (I would like to see the stats on this) and although the city council are doing their best to raise awareness I presume the daily waste is still a huge problem.

It’s nice to see that San Francisco is leading the way with its recycling education programs.
