Confronting climate change and poverty, a new crop of city farmers comes of age in Africa.

Please, please become part of the media that expresses outrage over the contracts BP is using to muzzle environmental scientists about the environmental impact of this spill. This muzzling contract is just unacceptable. It is hard to believe that any researcher with a conscience would agree to the terms which include not publishing any results of their finding for at least 3 years or until litigation is over, which I am sure the BP lawyers plan on drawing out for decades. But of course, if the $250 an hour reported being the salary is accurate, a scientist only has to work 8 hours a week for a year to earn over $100,000.

I agreed with you marie.
