Urban Harvest

Confronting climate change and poverty, a new crop of city farmers comes of age in Africa.

This is indeed a great victory for all of us and for all generations that follow. We are finally rid of the insidious bunch at the helm of our government during the past eight years, and saving the Red Rock country is a very positive step in correcting and reversing all of their ill conceived and greed driven policies. The new administration speaks of hope, responsibility, and accountability; and it now seems certain that measures and safeguards can now be put in place to protect and preserve our fragile world. There's much to be done, though, and we must remain diligent.

What about National Park status? Is the Grand Escalante a National Park now? I think Mr. Redford managed to push that through. There are rules that come with such status, right? Like no drilling! If you can get large swaths of Utah protected by such rights, that would be great. And what about Indian reservations, like Skull Valley? Are they protected? I think there's a military installation nearby, which can't be a good thing.
