My name is Laurie Lyman. My husband, Dan, and I moved to Silver Gate, Montana 5 years ago from Solana Beach, California. We are both retired school teachers. We had been coming to Yellowstone and watching the wolves for about 10 years. One very lucky day I found my dream house in Silver Gate about 1 mile outside the Northeast entrance. I had the beautiful Beartooth Mountains and we were only about 20 minutes from the Druid wolves. I retired and moved out here to watch the wolves full time and have been doing so ever since. I live my dream everyday. It is a life long passion and I am so glad that I can contribute whatever I can to help restore this keystone species to its rightful place.
I love letting visitors peer through my scope which is the window of the wild wolf. Sharing all my notes and observations is a huge part of the enjoyment and satisfaction I get out of the work I do every day. I consider what I do an honor and a privilege.
