Lynne Peeples is a freelance science journalist based in New York City. Her work has appeared in several publications, including Scientific American and Audubon Magazine. In her previous life, she was a biostatistician analyzing data from environmental health and medical studies. She holds a M.S. in Biostatistics from Harvard, and a M.A. in Journalism from NYU. Besides numbers and words, Lynne also enjoys sports and being outdoors.
