Urban Harvest

Confronting climate change and poverty, a new crop of city farmers comes of age in Africa.
Guardian Environmental Network

I believe global warming is an issue that will impact future generations. As adults, we must address this issue to the younger generation to stimulate action of reducing C02 emissions. Providing basic info. to children about climate change and the importance of protecting our environment can significantly increase support of environmental friendly activities. Most families in the U.S. are unaware of their own carbon footprints and do not realize that changing daily activities can make a major difference. However, it is vital that parents educate their children about the issue so they will understand the modifications of their daily lives. If we just explain to them how the environment reacts to an overload of C02, and that these "bad guy's" are destroying the earth we live in, children will want to become "heroes" by making efforts to a more greener economy.
