Confronting climate change and poverty, a new crop of city farmers comes of age in Africa.

I am also a student at Michigan State and I could agree with Kelly more. The energy around East Lansing is vibrant and the opportunities for students to get involved and have an impact are abundant. There are big things on the horizon for Lansing!

Great post Kelly!

You are absolutely right Kelly. We are successful entrepreneurs here and we get the opportunity to work with many other creative, innovative entrepreneurs in our marketing business. Everyone can help support all the great work they are doing by buying local whenever they can!

Though my exposure to the East Lansing community was brief, I would include it on the short list of leading cities in the Midwest for entrepreneurial activity and related support resources. What places like Madison, Evanston, Ann Arbor and Columbus have figured out (somewhat) is how to connect ideas with investment, and how to harness the collective energy of young entrepreneurs around a university. MSU and East Lansing isn't far behind, though it will take more people like you rowing in the same direction to keep pace moving forward. Right now there appears to be too much fragmentation and duplication of efforts to generate much momentum. A unique challenge in your region will be figuring out how to effectively navigate through the muddy world of politics that pervades the area. Keep knocking down the walls to drive transparency, authenticity and trust! Best of luck, Kelly. Suzain 1z0-054 UK
