All Americans should be extremely worried about BP, which appears to be more interested than profits than people, safety, and the environment. Given the scope of this disaster, the impact would be surely seen in long term inconveniences in the society.

still hasn't worked. I know many of us had our hopes up that this oil spill
issue would soon be resolved, but there's no such luck yet. I didn't get too excited
at the concept of this plug working anyway, considering nothing else has yet. If
merely pumping mud and debris into the hole would plug it, then why was it not done
a month back? It was it not performed a month ago since they knew it wouldn't
function then; they only pumped it down now to appear to want to do something.
